since I've tried it - nothing but problems. My system was (surprisingly for Windows) stable and clean before Firefox. Is there a list of which registry entries Firefox makes during install - could be a time for some judicious Mozilla deletion in regedit! From the list of currently installed programs, select Mozilla Firefox. Heres how to create a new FF profile in Ubuntu: Close all running Firefox. In the Control Panel window, click the Uninstall a program link under the Programs section. mozilla/firefox/ in your home directory, should it still be there. Click the Windows Start button or press the Windows key. The risks reported are "medium" - ie cookies etc, so it's no great threat, but I'm wondering why the Firefox folder is still locked when I have uninstalled Firefox with the uninstall utility. 1) Yes I have enabled viewing hidden files & folders - otherwise I would not be able to attempt the delete.
